Chenin blanc.
GSylvain Martinez, is one of the best winemakers of the Loire and produces an excellent Chenin blanc, both in still and sparkling versions, as in the case of this Petillant Naturel Gazouillis. The grapes come from a one-hectare vineyard that is on the right bank of the Loire, between Angers and Saumur, close to the Abbey of Saint-Maur, where the presence of Chenin bianc is attested already in the year 845. Spontaneous fermentation and aging for 9 months in old wooden barrels, where it is slowly bottled. Bottled without clarifying and filtering. The Petillant Naturel Gazouillis is an absolutely delicious wine, medium bodied, which stands out for its freshness and ease of drinking. Satisfying. Organic.
