A lighter-medium bodied red with crystal-clear acidity though not overrun by it. Loads of red fruit with easy, chalky tannins – a somber masterpiece.
A blend of 60% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 20% Grenache Gris hand-harvested from 60-80 year-old vines grown in Argile calcaire soils. The grapes undergo whole-cluster co-fermentation in closed tanks so as to avoid over-extraction over the course of 6 days before pressing. Élevage lasts 6 months in concrete tanks before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no additional SO2
