It's been said that this wine puts the "pinot" in "Pinotage." Pinotage is generally a very dark, heavy grape, but this has an unmistakable brightness and, we'll say it, elegance. And it's almost more of a dark rosé than a red wine... a blueish-dusty rose color. It retains some of the classic, Pinotage smoky, almost rubbery aromas, but a brightness of red fruit kicks it fresh and lively. A one of a kind wine.
