This is an easy drinking, light, fruity and fresh faced Grenache/Cinsault blend with hints of fruits du bois. A very glou glou Grenache with a touch of acidity to give tone. Perfect fall weather red to drink and remind us of warmer days past.
A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault from a one-hectare plot of 17- to 30-year-old vines planted to sandy, clay, limestone soils. Whole cluster fermentation in concrete tank for 3-4 days with no topping up and no SO2 added. The wine rests in tank for seven months before bottling.
