La Macabeu del Teixó 2019 is a white wine with aromas of white fruit and citrus over a mineral background. On the palate it is intense and deep. It reveals a brilliant acidity and a persistent mineral finish.
La Macabeu del Teixó started life in Mas Regany with David Baixas. This vineyard lies in the Tarragona town of Aiguamurcia (Alt Camp) and the vines are planted in clay-calcareous soil. The team works with ecological agriculture and biodynamic treatments, and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness. Organic
