Domaine de La Chappe is located just west of the city Tonnerre in northern Burgundy, near Chablis. Vincent took over the 2,5 hectares of vineyards in 2003 from his father. He turned the vineyards to organic farming although his father was already working on a pretty traditional way. Judging by his portrait, “Quentin” is a man you want to have a glass with (I feel like he tells good jokes), but more importantly, this is an Aligoté—Burgundy’s second most popular white grape after Chardonnay—that you want to drink.
