A wine made from 80-100-year-old Babić vines. I'd say this is a bit of a unicorn wine; due to the age of the vines, the yields are very low. But oh-boy, whatever juice they do muster is highly concentrated with dark cherries, blackberries, & a touch of pepper that oozes an addictive minerality—an extraordinary & unique wine with great extraction, balance, & length.
Fermented in open barrels for 4-5 days, without filtering or clarification.
More than half was aged in 500L of used oak.
