80% Piedirosso, 20% Aglianico
Organic
Medium-bodied red wine from the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius featuring aromas of earthy smoke, dark cherry, and wild herbs, followed by a juicy black fruit palate with velvety tannins and a long, savory, volcanic finish.
Grapes are entirely hand-harvested, typically during the first half of October. Following destemming, the fruit undergoes controlled, low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The juice remains on the skins for 20 days to extract color, structure, and fine tannins.
