Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, and a little Sangiovese
Juicy, peachy, and berryish, with a soft mousse. Sollazzo, meaning “fun under the sun,” is made with Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, and a little Sangiovese from a west-facing site planted in pergola. It is released undisgorged (“col fondo”) and unsulfured. 3087 bottles produced. Bardolino is proposing a new typology, Bardolino Chiaretto Rifermentato in Bottiglia, so in the future this wine may be able to take an appellation name.
