48% Pinot Gris, 28% Gewurztraminer & 24% Riesling
One of Joe's personal favorite white wines from 2021. The silty loam soils of the Naches Heights always provide softer versions of normally acidic white wines. This bottling is a classic example of freshness balanced by palate weight. Tangerine, lime zest, mineral.
The grapes are direct-pressed and vinified separately. Fermented and aged in a mix of 228-liter and 500-liter older French oak barrels. Blended, bottled without fining or filtration. A small sulfur addition at bottling is the only addition.
