Riesling
This is the beautiful balancing act of Feinherb Riesling. The best part about this wine is that it comes in a 1-Liter bottle and is only 10.5% alcohol, which makes it one of the most guzzle-able German wines ever! Drink on its own as an aperitif, or enjoy with spicy Asian food (Thai or Vietnamese), a spring vegetable salad or a plate of cured meats and cheeses. The grapes are hand-picked from the single-vineyard Falkenberg on the steep Piesporter hillside, just above Goldtröpfchen. Weingut Später-Veit uses only wild, ambient yeasts to ferment their wines in stainless-steel tanks. That spicy jerk chicken you've been marinating for your next BBQ will make a fine match.
