Tavkveri
A bright wine, which is made from the indigenous red grape variety Georgian Tavkveri, mainly grown in the Kartli region, where is located the winery with the poetic name "Tears of a pheasant." Red wine from Tavkveri always present on the tables of the Georgian kings, today it produces only "Pheasant's Tears". For the fermentation and aging of wines in the winery used Kvevri clay jugs, which are used in the Georgian wine with 6000 years BC. The lack of influence of oak wood winery team sees as an opportunity to clearly demonstrate the quality and varietal characteristics of the ancient Georgian varieties of grapes.
