Deep red, dark crimson-ruby hue. The aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, dried roses, stone and forest floor awaken the senses. Strikingly gorgeous and complex. Bottle age lends it notes of leather, chocolate and pepper. This wine requires time in order to reach its full potential and reveal its round texture and strong, virile structure. ONLY 50 CASES MADE IT TO THE US! Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted. 100% destemmed, fermented in wood vats for 12 to 20 days with daily pump over and punch down. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels (Tronçais), 10% new for an average of 18 months. Unfined/Unfiltered.
