Amazing aromas of ripe raspberries, dark lush cherry, violet and even licorice and a whisper of an herbal element. Encapsulating nose that makes you want to enjoy after each sip. In the mouth, the acidity balances the red fruit perfectly, with soft tannins. Absolutely great bottle that will age very well. Mouth feel is great and velvety.
Grapes were hand harvested and de-stemmed, fermented with native yeasts in cocciopesto tanks during 15 days at 24° - 26°C with a mix of punch downs and pump overs. Total maceration lasted for 26 days. After maceration the wine was transferred to 28% used barrels and 72% cocciopesto amphorae during 9 months prior bottling.
