Minerals and smoky honey appear on the nose, with chestnuts, allspice, and candied stone fruits transitioning to salty, waxy green apples and tart pomelo on the palate. Long lingering finish.
The wine was spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in large new and used Hungarian oak barrels, and subsequently aged for 3 years in Hungarian oak and 4.5 years in bottle.
