Old-Vine Sangiovese The Rosso R is a special wine that is not released every vintage. It is a specific selection of old-vine Sangiovese that produce low quantities at a high quality. The partially de-stemmed grapes are vinified in chestnut vats and left to age for a year in 600l french barrels. The wine then spends an additional year aging in bottle before it is released. Not every vintage is deserving of a Rosso R, so we recommend grabbing this while it is available!
