Syrah (50%), Malbec (30%), Merlot (10%), and Pinot Noir (10%)
Heavily extracted, juicy and smoky at the same time. Brambly fruits, stemmy, spicy and green. Definitely the fullest bodied of all the cuvees.
The grapes were mostly destemmed for fermentation in amphora. The wine is then pressed off for élevage in amphora. Spontaneous fermentation. Unfined/Unfiltered. Low to no added SO2.
