This Spanish red is a blend of Trepat and Garnatxa Peluda. Juicy, aromatic, and spicy. A medium-bodied palate of red berries, plum, and hints of wild herb. A finicky grape, the old vine Trepat thrives in alluvial soils of clay and sand. With light tannins, bright red fruit, and searing acidity, Mas Foraster Trepat sees 2 months of French oak, and at 13% abv it's is an ideal wine with which to explore this wine region.
