Varietals: Pinot Noir, Gamay & Cabernet Franc
In the glass, the wine shimmers a brilliant pink color with salmon highlights. The nose is wonderfully aromatic with an enticing fragrance of fresh-picked red currants, wild raspberries and a delightful spicy, rocky undertone. On the palate, the Mourat rosé really crackles with bright, snappy acidity that provides scintillating energy with an alluring refreshment. There is an excellent balance of fresh fruit flavors and steely minerality that have an added herbal note on the vibrant finish.
All grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, then aged in tank for 5 months before bottling.
