Forthave Spirits, Amaro TWO

NV - Botanicals LIMITED This is the second in an ongoing series of limited, single batch, amari from Forthave. For this second release, they were inspired by a special gift they received from a chef Upstate in the Catskills -- freshly foraged Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)! It is a mycelium that is commonly found growing on birch trees in cold climates in the northern hemisphere. Rich in minerals and nutrients, chaga has been used in herbal medicine for various ailments for centuries and has traditionally been consumed as a tea. Along with chaga, '"Two" is made with over 40 additional botanicals. With notes of earthiness and spice, is has a long finish of lingering citrus.
