A scrumptious delight! Curtido opens with peach blossom on the nose, and follows suit. After the first sip, wet river stone and unripe apricot unfurls itself on the palate. Do not let the cloudiness fool you into thinking this is funky. It is a super fun conversational orange wine for any person looking to explore this enigma genre in wine.
Hand-harvested. Partially de-stemmed but not pressed and allowed to macerate for four months. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in cement tanks (5000L) with ambient yeasts and lasts roughly three weeks under temperature control. The wine spends approximately two months on the lees after pressing with no stirring. Aged in cement tanks for six months; not fined or filtered.
