Domaine Gauby, Côtes du Roussillon Villages Muntada

Write a Review

Vintage: 2014

Varietals: 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah

Farming: Organic/Biodynamic

Domaine Gauby is situated in and around the tiny, bucolic Roussillon town of Calce, inland from Perpignan and a short drive from the Cataluña border of Spain.

Lovely floral and garrigue notes emerge on the nose of Gauby's 2014 Cotes du Roussillon la Muntada, a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. It's a delicate, red-fruited wine, with raspberries and cherries mingling with wild herbs and subtle hints of savory spice. It's medium-bodied and silky, already approachable yet capable of aging.
