In 2018, San Giorgio has produced a Riserva after 3 years of learning the potential of the land to identify the grapes suitable to produce a Riserva Brunello di Montalcino. The team selected grapes from plots with that have produced exceptional Sangiovese expression. The wine was aged in Slavonian casks for 42 months, then bottled and aged for another 18 months. The 2018 San Giorgio Riserva is a powerful and complex wine that will continue to evolve in the bottle.
