The Rossese di Albenga DOC (Riviera Ligure di Ponente) “U Bastiò”, is a wonderful local variety , a very gentle grape that seats in the glass like a Burgundian pinot noir, fainted in color but expressive of roses, cherry , marasca and other bright red fruits, the acidity drives this lovely wine followed by warm notes of wood berries and slight bitter finish. It's a great match for fish stew and white meats.
