2019 Zinfandel, Grenache, Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Malbec Being half of Yetti & the Kokonut (the Koko in the Kokonut), Koen gets to play a lot! In taking some of the components for a couple of the Y&K wines (B’rosé and Mt. Savagnin), he has put them together in a way that I’m not sure the ‘Yetti’ would approve of! Here the idea of light and bright reddish wine really takes form. Quirky? Yes. Juicy? Absolutely. Serious? Not so much but there certainly is layered complexity that one can get lost in, though it is best served chilled, consumed with friends and get the second bottle ready.
