Bascule, Babushka Rosé

2020 - Syrah Fresh hints of stewed red fruits, cherry cask notes of “Jerez” La Bascule is a collaboration between Fifi and Domaine Leonine. Fifi teamed up with his longtime friends and winemakers, Stéphane and Caroline Morin to collaborate on a series of wines in the style of Domaine Leonine, but with a touch of bombast from the firebrand himself."Babushka" is Fifi's pet name for his daughter. This is a Syrah Rosé in the style of "Que Pasa." It's direct press into fiberglass, then left to age in neutral oak for 6 months. No sulfur added.
