Danila Pisano founded her estate in 1990 with the goal to restore her ancient family estate of vineyards and olive groves. Believing in traditional methods, she immediately began to work organically and has been certified since 1996. She works exclusively with the Rossese grape, a variety native to Western Liguria. The color was a light garnet with a cherry core.  The light nose reveals darker red aromas.  In the mouth there is stand-up red fruit then black, minerally fruit.  The flavors play it close at first then there is a haunting, low-lying expansion of flavor.  There is a familiar Rossese powdery, ripe sweet bit then a firm touch with more tannins and younger fruit.
