Nice wine with a fully ripe nose with vague hints of spice. Medium body mouthfeel and mildly sweet with hints of licorice. Liked very much. Soft plum, earth, light sour cherry nose. The body has sharp acid, tart plum, but the length in the body makes for a fantastic balance. It has full mouth, meat quality. This wine would be fantastic with a light peppered pasta, veal or lamb The finish lingers, plum with a touch of fennel.
