At first, the lightly floral from Muscat and Traminer dominates the nose, but underneath pushes a dense cloud of jasmine and passion fruit with walnut, chestnut and wet flint. Fresh hay alongside creamy, dense, highly ripe apple. Also orange and red grapefruit and some overripe papaya. Extremely complex nose, underpinned by stony earthiness. The papaya then makes its way into the mouth, slowly joined by orange, apple, pineapple and lychee. And more air gives new impressions, crazy complex, please decant.
Macerated on the skins and a few days of skin contact. Pressed off, fermented spontaneously in large open wood. Then left still in large wood on the fine lees.
