Garnet color with soft pink edge. The nose is dense, with aromas of cola, blackberry, cassis, stewed cherries, and dried orange peel. The full-bodied palate is broad, with a range of fruit—from strawberries to figs—seasoned with wild herbs. Leather and sanguine notes are present but not in the foreground. The tannins are bold and assertive, finishing with a juicy acid evocative of salted Japanese plums
