2019 Syrah Rancho Sisquoc is planted on the original Rancho Sisquoc Mexican Land Grant in Santa Maria. The original vineyard was planted in 1968, and has expanded with plantings through the 80s and 90s. The vineyard is located in the southeast end of the valley, surrounded by the Los Padres National Forest. The Sisquoc river flows through the valley of the ranch and the vineyard plantings sit above on the bench and hillsides of the range. Since 2019, all the vineyard blocks we work with use organic farming practices. Fermented 15% whole cluster fermentation on skins for 17 days, and aged for 10 months in 228-liter old French barrels. Bottled unfiltered and unfined. 19 ppm FSO2, 44 ppm Total added. 162 cases produced. Organic
