This wine is an absolute joy to drink. It kicks off with that classic, bright Sangiovese cherry snap, then eases into the smooth, savory comforts of plum and tobacco from the Cabernet and Merlot. It’s got a great 'heft' to it velvety and rich, but with a lively acidity that keeps your palate awake. Finishing with a nice touch of dark cocoa that satiate the palate.
After a gentle de-stemming, the grapes settle into stainless steel tanks for a 25-day soak, 10 months in seasoned large barrels for the Cabernet and Merlot to smooth their tannins, and six months in traditional casks for the Sangiovese to keep its zesty energy.
