100% Gamay
Deep, bright-rimmed magenta. An assertively perfumed bouquet evokes fresh red/blue fruits, incense and candied lavender. Smoky mineral and spice overtones build in the glass. Stains the palate with appealingly sweet black raspberry, boysenberry and floral pastille that show very good depth and a firming spine of juicy acidity. Fine-grained tannins lend grip to lingering blue fruit and floral notes on the impressively long finish
60 yr old vines with very low yields. Extensive pruning to further limit the yield. All bunches picked by hand and then very carefully sorted to retain only the fully ripened whole bunches. Semi carbonic maceration for up to 10 days. Each terroir is vinified separately
