Serine (an ancient clone of Syrah)
Plenty of dark fruit (blue/black fruits, plums, boysenberry, blueberry confit), with a hint of mint and a savory, earthy fingerprint.
The 2023 vintage involved a mix of destemmed grapes and those that underwent a three-day carbonic maceration. It was pressed into neutral barrels for aging, unfined, and unfiltered, with minimal sulfur added.
