The 2020 Grand Cru Mambourg offers a beautifully clear and pure but also intensely aromatic nose of kumquat and bitter orange aromas. On the palate, this is a saline, powerful, tight and concentrated as well as juicy Mambourg Pinot Gris with remarkable finesse and a certain texture and generosity that I do not get today from the 2019 and 2018. At this stage, I really like it, and it is my favorite of the 2018-2020 trio today, even though Mathieu Deiss disagrees and opts for the 2019. 14.3% alcohol. Natural cork. -RP
