100% Mourvèdre
This is a Mourvèdre of rare elegance, crafted by Frédéric Cossard. Its nose is reminiscent of Tempier's Bandol, but with an even more ethereal, almost Pinot Noir-like style. Aromas of wild raspberry and garrigue are further enhanced by a very elegant hint of bacon. The palate is very vertical, displaying a savory character and great purity. The finesse of the tannins is impressive.
Made without sulfur, using indigenous yeast. 6 months of aging in vats. Hand harvested.
