Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon
Flaco Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning value that is produced from organically grown grapes near the town of Toledo, central Spain, 60 miles south of Madrid. Dry climate and cold nights produce ripe grapes. Bit of leather, hints of smoke. Bright acidity along with black fruits. Jammy but not simple. Perfectly valued for larger occasions and pairs well with BBQ, pizzas, and tomato sauce :)
Vinified at controlled temperatures of no more than 23C / 73F, with maceration during first stage of fermentation to extract color, aromas, and flavors. After 12 days the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and then spends 3 months in French oak barrels before bottling.
