Clos du Roy is located in Chenôve, the northernmost lieu-dit in the Marsannay appellation. The vineyard sits at 270 meters in elevation. The slope is moderate and faces slightly southeast. Hand-harvested. Light extraction to focus on the fruit and terroir. Elèvage in barrel.
Offering up aromas of cherries, raspberries, rose petals and dark chocolate, Audoin's 2022 Marsannay Clos du Roy is medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with bright acids and a succulent, charming profile.
