Deep ruby red, with garnet highlights. Expansive and floral, with scents of wild rose and violet. On the palate its dry, harmonious and persistent, with just the right amount of tannin in the mouth and throat, and a low level of acidity.
Fermented in stainless steel for ten to twelve days with 4-6 daily pumpovers. The wine is then moved to age in 700-liter neutral oak for 9-12 months and is then bottled the following autumn and rested 3 months before release.
