Sourced from six different vineyard sites extending from areas across the denomination, Altesino blends the fruit from all their estate vineyards throughout Montalcino resulting in a style of perfectly balanced Brunello di Montalcino regardless of the vintage. After hand harvesting and minimal intervention winemaking, this wine was aged for 40 months in custom toasted 50 ‑ 100 hl Slovenian barrels. The 2019 is typical of Altesino’s style, full of grace and elegance, with mineral laced ripe savory red fruit and silky tannins.
