Domaine de La Chappe is located just west of the city Tonnerre in northern Burgundy, near Chablis.
Vincent took over the 2,5 hectares of vineyards in 2003 from his father. He turned the vineyards to organic farming although his father was already working on a pretty traditional way, and he extended his vinification capacity by purchasing organic grapes in the area.
Vanilla, yellow plum and peach melba. Rich and full-bodied with a lingering acidity. Slightly oxidised. A fine introduction to the Wild side of Burgundy.
