Milan Nestarec’s vineyards comprise 8 hectares across two wine growing municipalities: Moravský Žižkov and Velké Bílovice. No herbicides are used and the vines are worked organically. Milan believes that gentle methods of growing grapevines and grape processing give the best result. All wines in the cellar are fermented spontaneously and they are usually vinified in oak and acacia barrels. Why “3rd Sex”? Because for Milan, Gewurztraminer is a strange grape variety that seems impossible to categorize, neither completely white nor completely red... A very lovely cuvée, with notes of white flowers, apricot and peach. Palate: elegant, clean, with a spicy finish. May contain gas. A 100% Gewürztraminer cuvée from 7-year-old vines grown on loess soils. Vinification: indigenous yeasts, maceration 1 day, matured 1 year in old oak demi-muid barrels.
