This joyous, refreshing, and lively wine is made by the son of Marcel Lapierre.. It’s cheerful, bright and well… it tastes amazing. Marcel Lapierre is one of the most notable producers in the region of Beaujolais, making kick-ass wine like it’s his sole purpose in life… because it probably is. This juice is as chuggable as it gets, but it’s not all-laughable cranberry laced fun. It also has a sophisticated side. Lean with a dusty tannin that manages to stay light on it’s feet with a brilliant acidity that caresses the back of your palate. Cherry blossoms, blood orange peel with a touch of baking spice.

Grapes are hand-harvested and meticulously sorted. Semi-carbonic maceration without SO2, for 4-6 days. 2 months in “cuve”. Almost all the grapes for this cuvée come from within the Morgon cru.
