Nothing other than grapes were added or used in the creation of this totally natural wine, made from grapes grown on 30+ year old vines in the Santa Ynez Valley. The grapes were crushed and destemmed like a red wine, then put into open-top fermenters where wild yeasts present on the grape skins naturally completed the fermentation process. No sulfur or other preservatives were added, nor did it go through any filtration prior to bottling. The result is a wild and unusual wine with clean, refreshing flavors that draw you in after each sip.
