Pure Sauvignon Blanc from Herve Villemade, intriguing white pear and other fruit characteristics without them being overbearing.The wine was matured in steel tanks and fibre glass tanks for an extended period before being bottled, Lemon, peel, some herbiness but surprisingly downtoned. Maybe a hint of oxidation/pear. Had it with a poached cod, deep fried Green cabbage and satsuma butter sauce. It tasted Great together with the satsuma sauce and cabbage. Fun! Drink young!
