Gamay
Yvon Metras is one of the most recognized producers of Beaujolais, and more particularly for his cuvées of the Fleurie appellation that he produces in biodynamics. He joined the family estate in 1988 and now owns 6 hectares of vines, some of which were planted in 1898. Since 2014, his son Jules has taken over and continues to raise his Gamay to the rank of very great wines.
For this "Spring", the age of the vines is about 40 years for a very concentrated fruity result.
