Bea produces perhaps his most renowned wine from pure Sagrantino grown on the prized hilltop site of Pagliaro, situated at 1300 feet above sea level. Full of dark fruit aromas like black cherries, blackberries and currants. Dry, full-bodied and structured with exquisitely ripened character. Paolo's wines speak for themselves: honest and made to live through the ages.

After crushing and destemming, wine ferments spontaneously in stainless-steel tanks. Cuvaision lasts 40-50 days. Vertical basket press. Spontaneous fermentation. Elevage 12-24 months in stainless-steel tanks followed by 24 months in large Slovenian oak botti. Unfined/Unfiltered. No addeed SO2. Ttl 50-75mg/l
