Zinfandel
This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Once and Future opens with red currant, dried cranberry with a hint of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and juicy. The flavor profile is a very tasty boysenberry with notes of mild minerality and oak. I also detected hint of black cherry and a touch of anise. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins show very nice length. This Zin would pair very well with sticky baby back ribs and duck bourguignonne. Organic
