2020 - Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir leads with aromatics of prosciutto, wet cement, and Redwood underbrush. Texturally, the wine exhibits silky tannins and a chalky finish. Notes of mushroom, five spice, and tarte au framboise come through in this beautifully piquant Pinot Noir. Drink now or cellar for future enjoyment.
We vinified the Legan Vineyard Pinot Noir with 100% whole cluster fermentation. By keeping the clusters and stems intact we are able to finesse the extraction of tannin, and create a Pinot Noir that has savory character and depth in flavor. After months of elevage we selected 6 of our favorite barrels to include in the Legan Single Vineyard Bottling.
