2020 - Carignan
An adult version of a melted popsicle in the heat of summer. Bursting with high-toned red cherries and juicy red plums, this wine is an ideal picnic wine. It smacks you up front with its lively charisma, then caresses you with a silky finish and level of sophistication that belie the fact that this is only Megan’s second whirl at winemaking. Enjoy slightly chilled with a nice view.
105 years old head-trained vines. Native yeasts used. Whole clusters were lightly tread twice before pressing within a week's time. Semi-carbonic results were achieved. Élevage in flex tanx followed by 5 months of aging in neutral barrel. Unifned/Unfiltered. No added SO2.
